PINpoint is a corporate application that facilitates cooperation and coordination during emergencies, by ensuring that users always have up-to-date information stored in their BlackBerry smartphones, including critical documents and contact lists.
PINpoint automatically collects information from internal or external systems, and pushes it to the BlackBerry smartphones you designate.
Pushed information is stored in your BlackBerry smartphones’ cache memory, thus ensuring that it will be available when your users need it, even if your systems are down or unreachable.
Supported data sources include HTML, PDF, Text, Word, Excel, RSS, XML, CAP, EDXL, as well as your Corporate Directory and BlackBerry Enterprise Servers.
PINpoint has been evaluated under FEMA’s National Incident Management System Supporting Technology Evaluation Program (NIMS STEP)
